A mouse in the house, Oh Me Oh My!
A louse I shall douse, by Jove, will I!
No matter how hard or how many there be,
My duty’s to keep this house mouse free.

I’ll search behind every chair and dresser,
Never could there be a better mouse guesser!
I’ll look into every crevice and cranny,
Even under the bed of our dear old Granny.

Oh My Oh Me – Oh Me Oh My!
I really wish that I could fly,
Then I’d hurry to my Lady Person,
To assure her that it will not worsen!

As soon as I find any mousy offender,
I will dispatch it, and none too tender.
With every bit of my courage, I’ll pounce,
With every part of my body – each ounce!

No place too high, no place too low,
I will find them wherever they go.
Quickly and swiftly, they will be trounced,
Not even a hint of my presence announced.

There’s no doubt, I’m a master mouse bouncer,
No one else is as fast a mouse pouncer.
Not one little critter will get away,
All will be clear by the end of the day!

I always watch over my Lady Person,
Nothing bad is allowed, not even cursin’.
Night is the best! I sleep on her pillow,
Nothing can harm her, not one single fellow!

There isn’t another that I could love more,
Certainly no other that I’d do more for.
My Lady Person need never fear,
Not as long as I live right here!
